About Role:


Juniper Square is looking for a Director of Human Resources in Bengaluru to help support our


organization through our next phase of growth. We are rapidly expanding and we’re looking for a seasoned Director of Human Resources to build out a Human Resources Team in India to support our quickly growing team of India-based Junies. Reporting directly to the VP People in the United States, the Director of Human Resources India will be responsible for hiring and retention including recruiting, people operations, and HR business partner strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to be a founding member of Juniper Square’s Human Resources Team in India and to develop and build a function and team from scratch.


Located in Bengaluru, India with the ability to go to the office 2-3 times per week.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field

12+ years of human resources experience in a fast-growing software or technology company

Prior experience leading a human resources team for a U.S. company, including experience reporting to a U.S.-based leader

Prior experience working in and leading a team in a remote work environment

Deep knowledge of human resources best practices, employment laws, and regulations

Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams

Self-starter and an ability and desire to both roll up their sleeves and deliver and to build systems, processes and teams from the ground up

Strong understanding of people and team dynamics, with an ability to quickly glean insights and develop actionable recommendations to stakeholders.

Ability to efficiently execute complex projects with a high degree of detail orientation

Best-in-class verbal and written communication skills; ability to succinctly explain complex topics with an employee-friendly tone

Fluent in English

Resilient, forward-looking and adapts quickly to change; maintains a growth mindset.


Lead and manage all India-based human resources functions including recruiting, people operations and HR business partners while emphasizing compliance and operational efficiency

Oversee and own a broad range of people-related topics, including talent acquisition and hiring strategies, employee and candidate relations, performance evaluation and management processes, HR compliance and compensation and benefits

Provide daily leadership, coaching and guidance to the local Human Resources Team

Drive initiatives that promote employee engagement, development, and a team environment that upholds Juniper Square’s values

Collaborate closely with the U.S. People Team to build a “one team” mentality and to ensure alignment with company goals and initiatives

Provide guidance and support in handling employee concerns and conflicts and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations

Build employer branding in the Indian talent market and establish Juniper Square as an employer of choice in private markets and fund administration

Compensation: 50-60 LPA
