About the role:

We are seeking a hands-on Human Resource Manager to manage and enhance the entire employee lifecycle for our growing team.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a small, dynamic organization where you can directly impact the people function by shaping policies, building processes, and fostering a positive work environment.

Desired Profile:

  • Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a small or scaling organization.
  • Proven ability to manage the full employee lifecycle, with experience in a remote work setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on employee engagement.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Comfort working independently in a small, agile team environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, and onboarding. Build and maintain a network of potential candidates to support hiring needs as we grow.
  • Design and execute a streamlined onboarding process tailored to a remote workforce.
  • Provide new hires with tools, resources, and guidance to integrate effectively into the team.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee well-being, satisfaction, and retention. Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture in a small, remote team environment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for employees and leadership on engagement and workplace matters.
  • Identify training and skill development opportunities to support employee growth.
  • Organize workshops and virtual sessions aligned with organizational needs and employee interests.
  • Support leadership in implementing a straightforward and effective performance appraisal process. Guide managers on goal-setting, feedback delivery, and employee development.
  • Work closely with partners to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations across a remote team.
  • Establish and refine HR policies and procedures, keeping scalability in mind.
  • Oversee offboarding processes, including exit interviews and transition planning.

Compensation range: $55k-$65k base.
